Ch.10-End

This part of the book was pretty much like the part before. Yet a little more interesting with some of the stories he had to tell. One thing that really stuck out to me, was that every character the writer creates... Is partly themselves. Which I find absolutely true. Another thing that he talks about is his accident with a van.
In my case, if that were to happen, I would completely stop writing then.. But he was back on track within 5 weeks! I couldn't do that.. that's for sure.. especially with the pain he was in. (wow)
Well, this book all together wasn't like I was expecting it to be. I was thinking it was going to just be another ole boring book a teacher just decides to torture her students with.. But this one was somewhat enjoyable. (not saying it was the best book in the world, but good)

On Writing, Toolbox

Well, to be quite honest, I most definitely am not a writer, and not much of a reader either, I enjoy reading (on my own time that is.) So reading this section in this book made me think a little about my actual reading and writing skills.
One thing that I liked about it, is that he made his points clear, and didn't just ramble about things. He made his point and went on with what he was saying. He didn't try to make things seems easy (cause we know English isn't the easiest thing.) he told you how it is pretty much.
He really broke everything down to show what everythings meaning was in writing. He showed the importance to all the sections in writing. For example, the plot. I hope that reading this section, it will help me to become a better writer. (that could come in handy while taking this class.)

C.V. On Writing

I never have read a book by Stephen King before, so it was interesting to read this one. I honestly did not expect to enjoy it whatsoever. I was kind of thinking it was just going to be another boring assignment for class. I ended up enjoying it so far though.. Mrs. Leffler kept saying the things he would say or describe were disgusting, but i found them rather humorous. For example, When he was younger and had to have his ears poked with very long needles, I honestly wanted to know more, I never did understand though why he was having that done exactly. Now, I must say, the whole thing with the table cloths, now that was disturbing.
I found his relationship with his wife adorable, the way she encouraged him to keep writing, even when he thought that he should just give up on it all. The way they worked together to take care of one another, and their two kids. They worked hard for a living in the beginning, which i think made them appreciate things more. I can't really think of something that i didn't like in this book, it kept me fairly entertained, I'm enjoying it.
