The Color of Water 9-16

   Well, these few chapters really show how bad life can treat some people. His mother really had a hard life, but yet she kept fighting. With both of her husbands dying, she just focuses then on her children and helping them through. I seem to find this book, not interesting, just sad! When reading he stories from his mother, her emotion really comes out. She grew up in a really though family, like I can't even imagine living in those conditions. Then again, I think that her growing up like that is what kept her going, made her a stronger person.
